About the Band
Bio
The Oddity is a female fronted alternative rock band based out of the Inland Empire. They’ve been performing consistently throughout Southern California since 2019. Their latest single “Angela” was released in April on EOI Records, along with a music video featured on Vevo's Incoming Alternative playlist. It was recorded at Edge Studios and performed by Melanie Reynolds on bass and vocals and Justin Strickland on Drums. The band's next single "Alone" will be let loose on May 17th along with a video on Vevo.
In 2022, The Oddity self-released their first album featuring singles “Arizona”, “Devastated”, and “Famous” breaking into the scene with an indie rock sound. In 2023, they leaned into a more distinct rock sound releasing “On Fire” along with a music video.
The band's original music has a unique, nostalgic feel with an exciting yet listenable rock sound. The Oddity's music offers a truly eclectic combination of genres.
The Oddity is also a working cover band performing hits from the 1960s-2000s from artists like Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Nirvana, Rascal Flatts, Fall Out Boy, and more.
Acoustic sets are available upon request. If you're looking for a more relaxed sound for your event, the band can play up to 4 hours of acoustic music with a blend of light percussion, acoustic guitar, and bass.
